Era uma vez, uma menina (que já não era tão menina assim, mas tudo bem), que adorava todo e qualquer tipo de crafts. Ela gostava de pintar, desenhar, costurar, bordar, modelar, tirar fotografias, fazer coisinhas de papercraft, bijoux, origami, e todo o resto que você puder imaginar.
Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved all sorts of crafty stuff. She liked painting, drawing, sewing, scrapbooking, felting, embroidering, photographing, papercraft, toy art, modeling clay, jewelry, origami and everything else you can imagine.
Ela morava em um apartamento pequenino com seu marido, e eles eram (aham, e ainda são!) um casal muito feliz que gostavam de queijo, House M.D. e World of Warcraft.
She lived in a little apartment with her husband, and they were (and still are) a happy couple who enjoyed cheese, House M.D. and World of Warcraft.
Um dia, seu marido sugeriu que eles mudassem a sala de lugar, porque aquele monte de papel, tecido, caixas e tranqueira já estava dominando metade da sala.
One day, her husband suggested they changed the living room, because her crafty supplies were already taking over half of it.
Mas ele sempre deu o maior apoio e sempre acreditou em seu talento, então, no fim de 2009, ele comprou o domínio www.karencraft.com.br para ela. (U-huu!)
But he was always supportive and believed in her talent, so in the end of 2009 he got www.karencraft.com.br domain for her. (Yay!)
Ela passou novembro todo pensando em como ia fazer o blog, que tipo de coisa ia publicar, como ia ser o layout, formato e tal, mas como ela queria que o blog ficasse perfeito (bom, perfeito não dá, mas que fosse então muuuuuito bom), acabou demorando mais do que o esperado... quando se deu por si, já era 2010.
She spent November thinking about how the blog should be and how to start, but as she wanted it to be perfect (or at least very, very good), it took longer than she had expected. Soon it was 2010.
Aí ela pensou: “dane-se!” e decidiu começar a publicar assim mesmo, mesmo que os primeiros posts fossem ficar super toscos, porque melhor publicar qualquer coisa do que não publicar nada, não é mesmo?
Then she thought: ‘what the heck!’ and decided to start publishing, no matter how lame her first post would be. After all, it’s better to have something than have nothing, right?
E aqui estamos nós, mais um blog na web, sem muitas pretensões, a não ser se divertir um pouco e compartilhar idéias e o amor pela arte \o/
And finally here we are, one more blog on the web, no great expectations, except to have some fun, share ideas and the craft love \o/
