Para todos que adoram papercraft como eu, esse é o segundo modelo do mesmo site japonês que eu já postei há um tempo atrás. Dessa vez, é o banheiro da casa, vamos ver se eu consigo fazer todos os cômodos! Dica: Se vc não quer um modelo gigantesco, imprima em 50% do tamanho do original, fica um tamanho razoável para cortar e colar.

For the ones who like papercraft like me, this is the second model I post from the same Japanese website I've mentioned some time ago. They have the whole papercraft house, bathroom, living room, bedroom and so on. I hope I manage to make them all and post them here for you! Tip: Unless you're going for a pretty big model, print it on 50%. The final size will be big enough to cut and glue, and you'll save some paper and toner/ink.

Papercraft gift box

Lovely, isn't? This cute box can be found on Canon Creative Park, a wonderful website for anyone who loves papercraft just like me. the model is not that hard to assemble, I tried it with 10-ys-old children and they managed... kinda... :P
The nice thing about this box is that you don't need a lid for it, you spin the petals of the flowers in order to close it. Super neat!

Super fofo, né? Vcs podem achar essa caixinha no site da Canon Creative Park, um site maravilhoso para qualquer um que ame papercraft assim como eu. Esse modelo não é tão difícil quanto parece, eu fiz junto com crianças de 10 anos e eles conseguiram... quase sozinhos, hehehe

Mother's Day card

It's still time to make a crafty and cute mother's day card for your mom! Print the template here and follow the instructions. If you are no good with the diagrams, I made this video to show it how it's done. Ah! Before you start folding, be sure to score all folding lines with an old pen or anything pointy (careful not to rip the paper, though). And happy Mother's day for all moms!!!

Ainda dá tempo de fazer um cartão para sua mãe! Imprima o template aqui e siga as instruções. Se seu inglês anda enferrujado ou se vc não é lá essas coisas em ler diagramas, eu fiz esse video para mostrar a sequencia das dobras. Ah, e não se esqueça de escorar todas as linhas antes de começas, vc pode usar uma caneta velha, um boleador ou qualquer coisa pontuda (cuidado só para não rasgar o papel!). E feliz dia das mães para todas as mamães!!!

Halloween Bags Papercraft

I know it's kinda late (or too early, it depends on how you see it), but I wanted to share anyway... I made these for last halloween, and you can now start making them for this year, lol. 
HINT: DO NOT print the whole pdf, or else you'll have to buy extra ink after the first sheet! Print the embellishments and only one bag pattern (on saving mode, lol) and transfer them to colored paper :-) And use foam tape to attatch embellishments, it gets way better.

Eu sei que está meio tarde (ou cedo demais, dependendo do ponto de vista), mas faz tempo que eu queria postar esse projetinho... Eu fiz estas sacolinhas para o Halloween do ano passado, e você já pode começar a fazer para esse ano, hehe!
DICA: NÃO imprima o pdf todo, senão vc vai ter que comprar um cartucho novo depois da primeira página! Imprima a folha de enfeites e um molde só da sacola, depois vc transfere para papel/cartolina colorida. Bem mais econômico! Ah! E use fita banana para colar os enfeites, fica muito mais fofo!!!

Papercraft WoW chest

Well, the main reason why my blog is named Karencraft is because of WoW (World of Warcraft). It was originally supposed to be World of Karencraft, but that would be too much, lol. I haven't played it for a while, but I still love the game, and decided to post this papercraft chest. I bet any player will recognize in a heartbeat! Wanna try? You can get the pattern here. 

Lembro que mencionei isso em algum post antigo, mas enfim, um dos motivos do meu blog se chamar Karencraft é por causa do WoW (World of Warcraft). Para quem não conhece, é um jogo online, e mesmo tendo parado de jogar há um tempinho, ainda gosto mto do jogo, de todo o visual do jogo em geral, e decidi postar esse baú. Ninhongo

Back when I was in college, I took a semester of Japanese Language. I made this box with 2 alphabets, hiragana in one side and katakana on the other, to help me memorise it. Pretty useful, but it was the kanji that killed me ._.

Quando eu estava na facul, fiz um semestre de Língua Japonesa. Eu já tinha estudando uns anos quando era criança, e esse set de cartas me ajudou a relembrar o Katakana e o Hiragana, um de cada lado. O problema eram os Kanjis... T_T

Recycling - Reciclando

Contrary to popular belief, recycling can be useful AND pretty!!! This used to be a baby wipes container, now it's my new carry-and-craft bucket!

Eu sempre digo que artesanato fica na tênue linha que divide o bonito e o brega. O baldinho aí de cima prova que reciclagem não precisa ter aquela cara de coisa tosca reutilizada! Originalmente era um balde de baby wipes :-)

Origami Mini Album

This is a mini-album I've adapted, using some scrapbooking techniques as well. It's all made with a scrapbooking paper (12 in) pictures and scrap. :-)

Este mini-álbum é meio antiguinho, foi dado em uma aula minha na Gana Presentes. É uma mistureba de origami e scrapbooking, e o resultado final ficou bem legal, principalmente por causa do papel. Usei um papel de scrapbook (que mede mais ou menos 30x30 cm), e mais alguns retalhos para o embellishment. Modéstia à parte, ficou super fofo! ^_^

Papercraft Japanese doll house

Para quem gosta de papercraft (...eu acho que eu peguei esse gosto por causa das navinhas nas caixas de sucrilhos do anos 80, lembra? Daquelas que precisavam de umas 5 caixas pra montar um modelo e deixavam a rua toda frustrada? isso...) esse site é tudo de bom. Tudo bem que está em japonês, mas é só clicar na figura do modelo que vc quer e depois baixar o modelo em pdf. Cuidado para não gastar todo o cartucho da impressora em um dia (como eu). Estou seriamente considerando fazer o orçamento do pacote todo para impressão em uma gráfica... ._.

If you like papercraft, you must check this website. Even though the website is in Japanese, you can easily find out the way to print the pdfs. The only problem is that you can become really addicted... and use the whole cartridge in a day... like me ._.
