Origami Magazine + Bascetta's Unit

Aeew!

Woohoo! See the pinkish-yellowish kusudama above? Guess who's done it? *poke poke wink wink* This is a Brazilian Origami magazine, and I'm really proud for the feature on it cover ^_^ Dunno if you'll ever run into this at your local newsstand, but if you do, remember me! :-P I've also folded the small kusudamas on the right top corner, and the yellow bunny. The creations are not mine, mind you. The Big kusudama is from Paolo Bascetta, and the small ones from Herman Van Goubergen. Dunno who's created the bunny, but I'd be happy to know it.

A personal shot from the same model (that's my balcony wall behind, lol).

Yummy Strawberries

Cute, but not edible... I saw lots of ppl doing these on Deviantart, so I decided to give it a try, but there is no such thing as Fimo or Sculpey here in Brazil, so I used this biscuit-like clay. It's ok, though :-)

Cute Eco Bags

This ecobag thing is just a wonderful idea, isn't it? You can help nature, and at the same time, you can walk around carrying a super-duper-mega-cute bunny, showing off your tote to everyone on the way home :-P This project was originally done last year for #ArtisanCraft at Deviantart, but as we've just celebrated Easter, why not taking them back from last year's archive, huh? Hope it inspires you with your own totes!

Kusudama - Astra

Personally, I didn't like this model very much... kinda floppy, not really stable, and not even really pretty... poor little thing, lol. Anyway, here is the diagram. Let me know if you give it a try, I'd love to know how yours turned out to be. ^_^

Kusudama - Little Turtle Diagram

This kusudama is called Little Turtle because it's modules resemble a turtle shell ^_^ My husband says it seems it came straight from a Megaman video game :-P Not one of my favorites, specially because it's hard to find a patterned paper with a pattern focused in the middle of the square, rather than the corners. You can find the diagram here.

Origami Boxes

These boxes are from Tomoko Fuse, one of the best origami designers ever... well, maybe the best one (*fan mode on*) *_* The book I used is the one below.

Ouch... my eyes... so much red... lol
*retina descolando*

Onimushi

Cute little things, aren't they? ;-) Patterns from the book below.

Super fofos, né? Os moldes são do livro abaixo.

Handmade Monogram Sticker

Pá, pum :-P
Simple thing ;-)

Materiais/Materials:

Use whatever works best for you, you can use either a regular office ink pad, or a colorful scrapbook one; you can use either a rubber stamp or silicon stamp. I chose the silicon one because it is easier to see where you are placing the stamp. The funkier the better. The stickers are simple office inkjet white circles, its diameter is 13 mm (about 1/2 inch).

Place stamp carefully in the middle of each circle...

 ... por todos os adesivos.

... all over the sticker sheet.

Now just start sticking on every possible surface!

Herman Goubergen's Curler Kusudama

Gorgeous, simple as hell, but extremely hard to teach... But once you figure it out, I promise you'll spend the next 6 months doing it anytime and anywhere: waiting for the bus, watching TV, studying... lol  :-( I hope that the instructions can help you assemble it, if they don't, send a comment and I'll be glad to help you :-)

Papercraft Japanese doll house

If you like papercraft, you must check this website. Even though the website is in Japanese, you can easily find out the way to print the pdfs. The only problem is that you can become really addicted... and use the whole cartridge in a day... like me ._.

Valentine Craft: Tic tac toe

Valentines' Day is coming, and I this is an old project I did last year (I think), thanks to Alpha Mom's tutorial and idea :-)

Lucky Stars

Quer tentar?

Aren't they super-duper cute? ^_^ If you feel like giving a try, check the instructions below.

Kusudamania

^_^ Some Kusudamas / Alguns Kusudamas ^_^

Cosmos Ball - Meenakshi Mukerji

:-) nota 10/10

I've recently bought this book - [Link] - and I really recommend it for anyone who likes modular origami/kusudamas. It's a really nice edition, clear diagrams and even some teorical stuff that helps creation and development. Besides, all models are just gorgeous, even the simpler sonobe-based ones :-) I'd rate it 10/10. Sooo worth it!
