Papercraft gift box



Lovely, isn't? This cute box can be found on Canon Creative Park, a wonderful website for anyone who loves papercraft just like me. the model is not that hard to assemble, I tried it with 10-ys-old children and they managed... kinda... :P
The nice thing about this box is that you don't need a lid for it, you spin the petals of the flowers in order to close it. Super neat!

Super fofo, né? Vcs podem achar essa caixinha no site da Canon Creative Park, um site maravilhoso para qualquer um que ame papercraft assim como eu. Esse modelo não é tão difícil quanto parece, eu fiz junto com crianças de 10 anos e eles conseguiram... quase sozinhos, hehehe

Mother's Day card


It's still time to make a crafty and cute mother's day card for your mom! Print the template here and follow the instructions. If you are no good with the diagrams, I made this video to show it how it's done. Ah! Before you start folding, be sure to score all folding lines with an old pen or anything pointy (careful not to rip the paper, though). And happy Mother's day for all moms!!!

Ainda dá tempo de fazer um cartão para sua mãe! Imprima o template aqui e siga as instruções. Se seu inglês anda enferrujado ou se vc não é lá essas coisas em ler diagramas, eu fiz esse video para mostrar a sequencia das dobras. Ah, e não se esqueça de escorar todas as linhas antes de começas, vc pode usar uma caneta velha, um boleador ou qualquer coisa pontuda (cuidado só para não rasgar o papel!). E feliz dia das mães para todas as mamães!!!

Cute Bears

It's been a while since I last posted, so here goes a video-tutorial on these cute bears :) They're pretty simple to fold and the result is pretty cute.

Como faz tempo que não posto nada, aí vai um pap em vídeo, ensinando a dobrar esses ursinhos fofinhos aí de baixo :-) É um modelo bem fácil e o resultado é super fofo.

Halloween Bags Papercraft


I know it's kinda late (or too early, it depends on how you see it), but I wanted to share anyway... I made these for last halloween, and you can now start making them for this year, lol. 
HINT: DO NOT print the whole pdf, or else you'll have to buy extra ink after the first sheet! Print the embellishments and only one bag pattern (on saving mode, lol) and transfer them to colored paper :-) And use foam tape to attatch embellishments, it gets way better.

Eu sei que está meio tarde (ou cedo demais, dependendo do ponto de vista), mas faz tempo que eu queria postar esse projetinho... Eu fiz estas sacolinhas para o Halloween do ano passado, e você já pode começar a fazer para esse ano, hehe!
DICA: NÃO imprima o pdf todo, senão vc vai ter que comprar um cartucho novo depois da primeira página! Imprima a folha de enfeites e um molde só da sacola, depois vc transfere para papel/cartolina colorida. Bem mais econômico! Ah! E use fita banana para colar os enfeites, fica muito mais fofo!!!

ScrapDecor - Small Owl Box

How-to:
1 - Dowlnload and print the pattern twice. Cut body only once.
2 - Pre-crease and crease folds on dotted lines.
3 - Glue sides.
4 - Punch hole and insert eyelet (if wanted).
5 - From the other pattern, cut wings, eyes, beak and belly patterns, transfer them to coordinated patterned paper and cut them.
6 - Use foam tape to attatch to body.
7 - Glue buttons to make the eyes.
8 - Insert candies and love <3
Pattern
You can use it as party favor, teacher's day gift, graduation gift, or just to make somebody's day happier!

Pap:
1 - Baixe e imprima o molde 2 vezes. Corte o corpo de 1 dos moldes.
2 - Vinque e dobre na linha pontilhada.
3 - Cole os lados.
4 - Fure e coloque o ilhós.
5 - No outro molde, corte os moldes das asas, olhos, bico e barriga, tansfira para um papel de scrap e corte.
6 - Use fita banana para colar ao corpo
7 - Cole botões para fazer os olhinhos.
8 - Insira doces e amor <3
Molde
 Use como lembrancinha, mimo de dia dos professores, formatura, ou só para alegrar o dia de alguém!

Upcycling - Extension Cord Cozy

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hopes were high and life worth living,
I dreamed that we lived in a wireless world...
...but then I woke up T_T

Well, this is a neat idea to keep your cords organized, it's an easy and nice project to use at home, school, office and so on.
Material: TP emplty roll, fabric/paper scrap, glue

Uma idéia simples e fácil para manter os fios organizados, espero que curtam! Fácil de fazer e dá para usar em casa, na escola, no escritório...
Material: tubo de rolo de papel higiênico, retalho de tecido ou papel e cola

MDF - Mad Hatter Tea Box


Another box inspired by Alice in Wonderland, more specifically, the Mad Hatter. I think its pretty appropriate since it's a Tea Box, and it turned out to be a lovely box!!! I'm really proud of this one!

- Scrapbooking paper, beads, pearls, lace, ribbon, paper roses, rickrack, gems, miniature cup, saucer and jam jar, arabesque apliqué (it's on the back so you can't see T_T).

Surpresa... hehe... Mais uma caixinha de MDF inspirada na Alice no País das Maravilhas, mais especificamente, no chapeleiro maluco. Acho que tem tudo a ver, já que essa é uma caixinha de chá, né? Ficou super fofa no final, estou super orgulhosa do trabalho. :-)

- Papel de scrapbooking, miçanga, pérolas, renda, fita, rosas de papel, sianinha, mini xícara e pote de geléia, aplique de arabesco (que não dá pra ver pois está do lado de trás ._.)

MDF - Love box


Another MDF box :-D Kinda addicted to that, lol.
- Paper, ribbons, pearls, buttons, plastic texture, stamps, MDF butterfly, cord and gems, painted with bitumen paint.


Mais uma caixinha, hehehe... dessa vez, o tema é 'Love'. Eu reaproveitei essa caixa, pois a ganhei na Mega Artesanal de 2001, a técnica era justamente aplicação de Betume, no stand da Acrilex. Quem passou por lá deve reconhecer o papel que reaproveitei. Como eu queria aproveitar o máximo da feira, aprendi a técnica que me interessava e peguei o material para terminar em casa. Compensa MUITO mais, já que em casa eu tinha todo o resto de material que poderia usar para decorar a tampa da caixa.

- Papel, fitas, pérolas, botões, textura da True Colors, borboleta de MDF, cordão encerado e chatons, caixa pintada com o Betume da Acrilex e da True Colors (a Ana Caldato que me apresentou à esse betume ano passado, estou usando sem parar agora!!!)

MDF - Sweet Lolita Box


Inspired on Japanese Sweet Lolitas, but with a touch of black (it was getting too pink for my standards, lol). 
 - Scrapbooking Paper, lace, ribbons, pearls, tags, buttons, plastic texture, stamps, rickrack and gems.


Caixinha inspirada nas Sweet Lolitas japonesas, mas com um toque de preto (estava ficando rosinha demais para mim, hehe).
- Papel de scrapbooking, renda, fita, pérolas, tags, botões, textura da True Colors, sianinha, pedraria. A parte de dentro pintei com Betume True Colors.

This is the cover of a Brazilian origami publication I contribute every other month or so. I'm really proud of this one because the Pegasus you can see was made by me :-)
